This past Sunday the four of us had planned on going to Birch Aquarium after church to let Eric check out some fish. But Christian woke up with a sinus headache, and Eric had a bit of a runny nose. So I was just going to take the boys by myself, but then Mom and Dad missed church (some kind of clock problem), so they decided to come along.
We had so much fun looking at all the beautiful animals, and it was just a long enough visit for Eric's 2 year old attention span.
We started by getting some squished pennies. He got a seahorse and a shark.

I, on the other hand, hate them more than any other living creature.
This is a Garden Eel. They pop up and down out of the sand. Pretty cool!

Not sure what they're letting him touch in this pic, but he did get to touch a sea cucumber (by that I mean he jammed his fingers into it really hard).
Driving home with some sea animals and the special box his lunch came in.
