The Past Couple Weeks

Tomorrow Jake will be 4 weeks old! We've been gradually adjusting to life with a newborn and are pleasantly suprised that so far, none of the horror stories people shared with us about having two little ones have been true. When we took him to the doctor for his 2 week check-up, he was 10lb 3 oz (he was 8lb 5oz at birth). I'm pretty sure he's put on another pound or two since then. He likes to eat :)

 We attempted to pose the four kids to take pictures for Mom's birthday. Sarah got some good ones.

 We introduced a bottle and "pluggy". He's a fan of both, and Christian and I are very glad :) Here Eric is helping put the plug back in

(we really have to watch this, because he just sort of jams it in there).

We have literally spent hours on youtube looking at videos of "Old MacDonald" over the past weeks.

 Literally. Hours.

Eric is developing the imagination/pretending part of his brain these days. He stacked these tubs then hopped in and started singing "Row, Row, Row Your Boat", using a rubber spatula for an oar. He told me the carpet was all water. :)
